Try Sic Bo – the Chinese Dice Game
Are you getting tired of blackjack, roulette, and the other common casino games? If you’re looking for a new challenge, one game that’s been gaining ground in Western casinos (both online and brick-and-mortar casinos) is Sic Bo. Never heard of it? Here’s how it works in a nutshell.
Sic Bo the Three Dice Chinese game of Chance
The objective in Sic Bo is to be able to predict the probabilities for the different combinations that can occur with the throw of three dice. Bets are placed on the total of points for the three dice using betting chips on a board that has literally infinite possibilities. Various bets can be placed simultaneously, before the croupier rolls the dice (shaking them up in a closed box). If the dice correspond to your bets, you win. These are the various types of bets you can make in Sic Bo:
Small Bet
The player bets that the roll of the three dice will be between 4 and 10.
Large Bet
The player bets on a roll totalling between 11 and 17.
Triple Bet
The three dice come out the same. The house carries a huge advantage in this case.
Any Pair
This is a bet on the likelihood that 2 of the 3 dice come up the same, and it is one of the best ways to punish the house. We understand if your still a little confused as to how Sic Bo works exactly, but we promise you that once you start playing you’ll quickly get the hang of it. It’s actually quite simple. What’s more, you’ll probably also really start enjoying this one-of-a-kind Chinese dice game.
